I'm a daddy's girl. Always have been and always will be. There's a lot that dad has taught me throughout life... how to do proper marketing at a wet market, how to efficiently buy groceries, what are the best ways to approach life and never try and weasel your way out of following him out on a Sunday shopping spree. My dad likes shopping or rather he enjoys WINDOW SHOPPING! Yes, my very own FATHER! Of course, in all fairness to his male genes, he likes looking at groceries and plants. His favorite places in the world would most likely be Carrefour, Giant, the market (Old Town or the Subang market.... actually, give him ANY market and he's a happy man) and Sungai Buloh. One rainy afternoon, he had another one of his

whims. He wanted to buy plants. Forget the fact that my house looks more like nursery than a home (okay, so maybe I'm exaggerating here, but its a SUNDAY afternoon for crying out loud!) but my dad decides...hmm... we need more.... PLANTS! So off we go (with much retaliation on my part~ which eventually lead to me being referred to as the bad vibes that brought the rain) down to Sungai Buloh. Now this isn't an extraordinary feat of any sort as I've been here (and donated enough blood to mosquitoes to last a lifetime!) tons of times.... But for some inexplicable reason, this time, I felt strangely attracted to the diverse colors and types of flowers that greet me at every glance. I felt serene in their presence. Not even my mother's nagging voice about using an oversized umbrella to protect my hair or the savage mosquitoes ravaging my flesh could distract me from it. Today, I was transported to another world. A world of exquisite flora. A world where colors and patterns came alive with vibrance. It was remarkably breathtaking. Inexplicably true.
Well, I had my phone with me (I don't have phones with 10 megapixel cameras like some people and I did my best so bear with me here) and thus snapped a few pics! Enjoy!
